Kingston 40gb SSD's (RAID0) Deterioration

Hi guys, having owned my 2 drives for about 3 months now I thought I would share with the forum how they have been and if there has been any deterioration. I realise people have probably already posted their findings but 1 more never hurt :)

Anyway here are the speeds I was getting on day 1 when I installed them.

and this is them now....

As you can see, it has decreased slightly but not a great deal! Which I am very happy about :) I reckon I will probably do a reinstall in June next, unless of course I need to before then....
The only score that has dramatically changed is the 4k write, which has almost halved?!

Hope this may help someone anyway!

Your sequential and 4k writes have been hammered, which is what you'd expect without TRIM over time. To be honest I wouldn't view this as non-degraded...

Haha yeah after posting this I noticed that 2 of them had gone down a lot, My bad. Still its not THAT bad. Still opens Photoshop CS4 in 2 seconds amongst other things which is always nice.

Well at least this post makes it clear how much deterioration there is.

Pretty sure that would be pointless, there is 2 of them in RAID0. As far as I know, no firmware supports TRIM in raid? Correct me if I am wrong :)

Ah yeah, but its probably worth doing it anyway, as I'm pretty sure TRIM support will be added to venders raid drivers sometime in the near future.
