*** Final Fantasy XIII ***

I knew getting for the ps3 was a good idea. I initially just wanted to have another excuse to play the thing. It wouldnt feel right playing it on a 360 to be honest

Might just be the work monitor I am watching it on, but there doesn't seem that much difference to me.

Edit: on other images and videos I can see the difference, blurry is the 360 sometimes. I am not blown away with the graphics on either version though tbh. Though graphics aren't everything.

i'll think youl'l find that most 360 user's will just be glad they can play the next FF game that isn't exclusive to PS3 than worry about some slight differences in looks that really to the average user would never notice.

Yeah, the video comparison looked the same to me, but then I was watching it in the small player so scaling would help.

I have been in the same situation recently, the last two things I have ordered have come on a Saturday when I am out for most of the day. It annoying knowing that it's sat in some warehouse and you can't get it for a couple of days.
 
My God, this game looks amazing :D Can't wait till the end of my semester to get my game on now. But I also just realised that Heavy Rain, GOW 3 and Yakuza 3 are all being released in the same month! What were the publishers thinking?!
 
RAGE! Just got an email from front desk saying a package is here for me. I get across there at the speed of light, to find the God Of War Collection I'd ordered weeks ago and completely forgotten about!

I'm somehow angry at it for turning up now, almost don't want to play it out of spite.
 
Where did you guys whose games are being dispatched order them from? I will accept answers in oblique references or trust emails :D
 
I got the email yesterday to say that mine had been posted, but have had nothing through today. All being well it will be here tomorrow, unless some thieving postie already has their grubby mits on it.

On a different note, I feel foolish now.

I never, ever knew that all that stuff was FMV.... I thought it was in engine.

Not the mega detailed FMVs, i'm not that stupid, apparently the in-engine cutscenes are pre-rendered anyway. Never noticed while I was playing :eek:. That's the reason the "Hellghast" part looks so naff, not only is it lower res its been hit with video compression.
 
Slightly gutted at some of the screen shots, but I'll wait to see it on my own screen before I decide whether the quality is hard to see past. I've seen the PS3 version in play round my friends, and it's sexy.
