both are about the same price on different websites with the colossus being slightly more.

i cannot decide which one to get as they have very similar stats. whats the difference between the ssd 2.0 and ssd 3.5?

The colossus is the new vertex series from what i know.

What are the random 4k writes/reas like on those?

Ah it's under the specs, they look fairly even matched

i think one of the differences between the 2.5 and 3.5 is that the 3.5 looks like it is the base for the larger capacity drives.

Cant comment on the Collosus but i do have the LE and i absolutley love it.

whs

Things like control pannel / add remove programs (or whatever win7 calls it these days) is instant.

Personally I would go for the extra space, i've migrated from a 160gb drive onto the 100gb (~93gb after formatting) and it is a struggle....

the colossus is just an internal pair in raid 0, theres nothing special about it tbh as you could buy a pair of regular priced SSD's to get that performance by having them in raid 0, the LE gets better performance being just 1 drive, raid0 2 LE drives and then ur shmokin, 560 read 540 write?? :D
