Oh.I just did a google search and on another forum somebody said he'd said they contained them.

How good is the AK47?! Didn't use it first time around as I just prestiged but thought i'd try it this time and it's fantastic! Stick a silencer on and it's a beast.Even though the recoil is ridiculous with a RDS on it.

In what is now fast becoming the gaming industry scandal of the decade it may be the consumer that ends up bearing the brunt of Activision’s and Infinity Wards legal proceedings. Only this morning IGN have published the full detail of the lawsuit that is being filed against Activision by Jason West and Vince Zampella. In it the Plaintiff (West and Zampella) claim ownership of the Modern Warfare brand and have requested a temporary or permanent injunction against the release of any Modern Warfare game, or Call of Duty title set in the post-Vietnam era, near future or distant future.

Now this may not at first glance appear to have any bearing on any future content for the current Modern Warfare 2 title, however further on in the document the plaintiffs request for relief further outlines that they contest the exploitation of the Modern Warfare brand stating

For a preliminary or permanent injunction against’s Defendant enjoining it and its officers, agents, employees and representatives from violating Plaintiff’s rights with respect to the development, release and exploitation of any Modern Warfare game or Call of Duty title set in the post-Vietnam era, near future or distant future.

The key word here is of course exploitation which will include gaining financial reward. So with the whole brand in question and an injunction being sought by the Plainiff then the possibility of seeing any extra content for Modern Warfare 2 at all never mind any time soon is very slim
 
Don't you think your jumping the gun a little claiming no DLC for MW2? I'll wait for a proper statement before I get too upset.

I hope Activision get screwed over and West and Zampella, get IW and MW2 back.

This certainly has the potential to get very very messy for the COD franchise and future MW games. I see entirely where they are both coming from.

Where are they coming from? The only information Ive seen is the activision press releases, any news from the dudes that got sacked?

I Have no clue what this is about, so someone round it up for me please? :D
 
It's not advisable playing this game after having a few pints.
I joined a party with some friends and we played TDM.They usually play hardcore but didn't last night.I was shooting people and they weren't dying and I couldn't figure out why it was taking loads to kill people.After about 2 minutes I finally noticed it was ordinary TDM. The fact there was a map up permanently didn't register:o
 
If I take out something like a harrier with my predator does that count as a kill in the prestige challenge section?

edit: Ugh just had a game which was all boosters bar me. 4 from one clan, 2 from another.. all nuke boosting.

edit2: ..and again next game, the group of 2 left only to be replaced by a group of 3! :mad:
In the last few days I'd hardly seen any and now its gone crazy! Never has sitrep been so useful!

They're the most annoying part of the game and the hardest to stop. Short of having people at IW monitor online games I can't think of many ways of recognising who is nuke boosting.
 
Stuck behind the hut next to the playground on Favela. Then outside in Terminal (just underneath the front of the plane, you know the little bit). I quit the game, I should have reported their tags.
 
It's not hard to stop the boosters, there is only so many spots they can hide out of view (And it's not many)

Last week me and my brother was playing and there was boosters in TDM =\ we found them and waited till he had 24 kills, and killed him, then just told everyone else ingame to report them.

I do love me some booster hunting :D
 
Sold mine about a month back :/ regretting it though, got p'ssd with all the glitch's people was using. got a good £30 for it though :P
 
I've just started playing MW2 and I do really like it - one thing I don't like too much is the match making is a bit off, I keep getting pitted against really really good people, and I'm still learning. :/

I've just managed to get FMJ on my UMP, I usually run around with UMP + Holo/FMJ, and stopping power, with a G23 as my secondary. Then my second setup is the TAR-21 w/ grenade\holo and thumper for when I'm on that really ****ing annoying map with the tunnels.

Also, anyone got any experiance with using Fragenstein or FragFX? Just FPS on the 6axis, albeit highly tuned and works well. I still can't react as well as I could if I was using a mouse.
