I can't decide whether the M95 is a good gun or not. Its damage is maxed but that doesn't exactly make a difference in normal mode, either it takes 2 shots or its a 1 headshot kill. I really should stop using it and go back to the GOL Magnum since it kills exactly the same but with far more accuracy. I'm starting to get used to the bullet drop now which is making headshotting Snipers great fun.

All that happens is that I search for all servers, 95% of the ones that have a good ping are full (It's a bit odd but I can't see any uk based servers in the list with less than 100 ping, I thought they would be there.) The ones that aren't full are the ones I join and then get kicked out. Most of my experience of this game is watching the server browser update and I'm getting very tired of it.

Surely there must be a way for me to play this game for more than 1 minute at a time!!!!!

For UK servers the best tip i've seen on here is, just type in UK above the filter options and i leave all the filters unticked except password - i get the whole list of multiplay and other uk servers showing up, with the added bonus of avg pings showing as mid 40's, even though i don't filter ranked servers they still show, so alls good.

Give it a try ;)
 
First time I got to play the multiplayer was yesterday really. Was busy Friday night.

Got on and started about 10am and other than a few hour break for lunch, dinner and letting the Mrs play - it was running on my PC til midnight :D

What a game! So good and great when you are playing with friends! It is the old Battlefields but better!

Overall, excellent stuff, the only gripes I have so far is the Squad limits of 4 people and I also got reminded yesterday of one of the reaons I stopped playing BF2; teams becoming so uneven you just get base raped, your choppers stolen, etc, etc and no one will switch sides to fix it. So annoying, generally I leave the server but it is a PITA.

Superb game, got a question though, my friend and I have tried adding our BF:Vietnam and BF:1942 to Veteran page and it says our keys have already been used. Any ideas what to do?
 
I don't have a problem with people being snipers (I am a sniper sometimes, but depends on map and how many other people are snipers), what annoys me is when half of your team or/and the other team are snipers and all of them just sit at the back of the map not trying to do the objectives (Rush), although you do get the odd one which will actually try to arm or defuse the bomb. Btw picture taken from High res screenshot thread to show what I mean lol:

I only really play as assault and sometimes engineer, and medic if I am in the attacking team. I always provide ammo for team mates and do the objective, If I wanted to just have a death match then I would join a death match game lol.
 
atm instead of server browsing I just press play and see what it gives me lol. Got grouped with a fellow ocuker just now as well for about 2 1/2 hours which was a good laugh

Lmao, that is annoying, when I'm a sniper I always go to defuse/arm and usually the only 1 to do so :O

Check if you got any filters on or anything, might be the reason its not coming up =]
 
If any of you guys are getting kicked by pd when joining a server, go to services and enable A & B to communicate with desktop, worked for me.

Is there any way to manualy enter ip addresses?
 
Well I haven't been able to stay on any server for more than 10-15secs before being Punk'd !! even the new Multiplay server recently added :(
 
Perhaps but its only annoying when the Snipers know what they're doing when they're on the other team. Had a game on the Jungle pushed back to the lighthouse. The defender team had so many snipers, i got killed 3 times attempting to place a mortar strike on them before deciding to just shoot them. 6 shots later i'd killed 5 of them and STILL our team hadn't got anywhere with pushing.

I've started using Motion Mines recently and my god they rule. So good in Conquest, you chuck 1 towards the flag your squad is assaulting which gives you a good idea where everyone is then push in and slaughter them :D
