Oscar Nominations

I'll be very surprised if Avatar doesn't win best picture... Not sure if it deserves it mind - For most it's obviously a great cinematic experience, but it's also somewhat disposable, predictable and empty in areas.

But I suspect Hollywood will be quick to reward all those $$$$$ it earned and give it a pat on the back by giving it the Oscar.
 
I think Sandra Bullock is deserving - especially since she received Worst Actress award at the Razzies before the Oscars and took it like an absolute champ so she's rating quite high in my books :p

Agreed. Nothing special or bad, just another Clooney film that won't waste your time :cool:

Having now seen "A Prophet" it should get the foreign award although I've only seen 3 of the nominees.
 
I hope Fantastic Mr Fox wins best animation, CW for supporting actor and IB for best screenplay. District 9 should win some awards though I would liked to seen it nominated for best direction. Avatar should get best pic imo.
 
I have a couple of links I'm pretty certain are showing the whole thing from Sky. Plenty being posted over at digitalspy.
