Fuel tax up again 1st April

Couple of quid extra per tank for me too but it's the principle that annoys me far greater than the additional cost

Yeah I do. I use to put in £20 a week when it was 108.9p now its gone up to 112.9p its costing me an extra £5 a week. Its either down to them buying rubbish petrol and Im using more or the cold weather making me use my heaters which is using it all up.

£20 / 1.089 = 18.36 Litres of Fuel
18.36 x 1.129 = £20.73

So that's £2.93 a MONTH or a total of £35.04 a year extra

Fuel would have to rise to 136.1 before it actually cost you an extra £5 a week

Well it's 116 here for petrol, 117 for diesel and I filled up with 97 octane at 1.26 at lunch time a cheeky 56.55 for 3/4 tank in my car :O

Just wondering why everyone went mad etc before at a quid a ltr now its going to be another 20% more and there are no rumblings about blockades etc?

This has been covered already, you blockade, you get detained as a terrorist.

Would it be possible for diesel cars to be converted to run on jet fuel? IIRC, jet fuel isn't taxed at all - sounds like a plan :D
