The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

I wouldn't of said it was an awesome debut myself, a dropkick followed by a rolling thunder for the 3 count? Then Sting beats him down with his bat?? :/

U know nothing actually, goldberg swerved last time and he retuned. he will join TNA soon.

The reviews say Impact was good last night, worked on feuds, put the right people over etc. I think they just need to up the production a bit in order to compete with WWE and a larger scale. The commentary and segments in between the matches just seem a little low rent, along with the actual arena. IMHO they need to find a bigger arena and put a bit more money into the production side of things. Oh and find someone to broadcast in the UK earlier than a week after it happens.

You have to laugh at Flair. :D

Just watched TNA - AWESOME. Pure awesomeness. Then watched RAW. Had to laugh at undertaker messing his lines up and skipped most of the show.

TNA rocks!:D (And I've only been watching tna about 6 weeks lol and WWE since I was 9).

How old are you now? 10? :p

Seriously though TNA does sound like tuning into this week, will be interesting to see Jeff Hardy again as well as Sting and RVD's returns but making Sting a heel? Seriously you would have thought TNA would have learned from WCW's mistakes when they did it last year but now they've done it again? Likewise making their prize asset AJ Styles a heel? Who's the top baby face in the company now? Angle? He's had so many switches during both his WWE and TNA run it's hard to even keep up

From what I saw of TNA on Hogan's debut episode and from what I've read since even with the WWE's dodgy booking they're still light years ahead of TNA

If WWE sorted out their product completely then TNA wouldn't stand a chance in this latest 'Monday Night War'

Ratings for Last Night's WWE RAW and TNA iMPACT

Source: PWInsider.com

- We don't have full details yet but here are the ratings for last night's WWE RAW and TNA iMPACT.

RAW scored a 3.4 cable rating while TNA's iMPACT scored a 1.0 rating. Obviously this isn't close to the number TNA was looking for.

Stay tuned later for more ratings news.

http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/tna/6792.html

As mentioned earlier, Raw did a 3.4 rating. The show did hours of 3.25 and 3.5. They averaged 5,091,000 viewers.

Impact did a 0.98 rating, which rounds up to a 1.0. The show did 1,361,000 viewers.

Honestly, I think both sides can say positive things about the number. TNA averaged a 1 at a big time of year for WWE. WWE didn't see their number drop all that much from last week. This could end up being a win/win for everyone, including the fans.

I guess I'm kinda losing interest in WWE now :( It really isn't a great product right now which really does me in as I've watched it for years but it's just so predictible now.

Hopefully we will see some good match(es) at WM but I can only see Shawn Michaels and the Undertaker pulling that off. What I do think however is that the streak will end....that would be awesome.

Vince and Bret just shouldn't happen, I doubt it's the draw that WWE expected as the ratings have been the usual for Raw.

Cena/Batista will be a bore fest possibly, similarly with HHH/Shemus

MitB tends to give the best "moments" but the last 2 haven't exactly been great matches, plus how out of shape is Matt Hardy?! Again I like him but my god he has went down the pan.

I do look forward to the Orton vs DiBiase/Rhodes match as it will be interesting to see how this turns out. If this match is booked as a handicap match I wouldn't like to see Orton win, this would crush these two young talents and would certainly hurt DiBiase who has the potential to be a true Main Eventer in my eyes at least.

The problem I have with the Edge/Jericho match is simply that Fozzy are touring in April/May/June and this kinda looks to me like Edge will win at Mania, however if he doesn't then Jericho will drop very soon afterwards, the internet has ruined things like this for me as it kinda lets you know everything thats going on, like who's taking time off and for what.

I will probably try and avoid all rumours/spoilers etc until Mania now but the way the matches are pre-booked in terms of their storyline tends to provide the inevitible outcomes.

-----------------------------------------------------

TNA for me just cant be taken seriously, taking so many old names like the Nasty Boys and having them there is just not on.

Scott Hall unfortunately doesnt look fit in any way shape or form which is sad as I thought he was a great talent in the Razor and NWO days.

RVD made his "surprise" debut and beat Sting with his roll...sure he was great but is he still? We'll see! Though at least he was looking in good shape which is a bonus.

Anyways Rant over....for now :p
