Just finished setting up my new speakers and dual LCD desktop mount. The mount was £60 but frees up a lot more space aswell as looking totally awesome :D

Simmy - what make is the mount? Been looking for one for ages.

I'm not Simmy but I can tell you it's an Allcam MDM05 or MDM06. The 05 is a dual monitor stand, the 06 is a triple monitor stand. I have the MDM06 but use it with two screens - means I have a spare centre bracket if I ever get a third screen. I can also tell you the desk lamp is from Ikea because I have that too:

I stripped the fluorescent tube out of the lamp and replaced it with four MR16 12V LED clusters hence it looking subtly different.

loving the ghetto printer storage solution.

Look good actually, any idea if you can use different size monitors?
What do you mean by different size, smaller? It's not actually meant for 24" screens, it's intended for much smaller. Those are Dell G2410s I'm using it with and I reckon that if I did want to add a third one I'd need to buy some extensions for the side arms, otherwise they wouldn't all fit together.

Phoenixdancer you presumably mean the MDM06. Did you have to buy some extensions for the side arms? If not, how did you manage to fit them all together?

Taking the ****. No one needs that many screens, for the love of god you'll get rsi of the neck!!

Aaaanyway, what are the certificates on the wall for? :)

Ok, I do lots of Graphic design, 3D design and such like. I also do electronic engineering so having 1 screen for emails, one screen for web (datasheets etc that I need in constant view), and 3 screens to work on is not really excessive.

With 3x 24" I can have 2 apps open full screen to work on, and one extra for over spill or other apps I may need. Say I am doing 3D CAD stuff, I use screen 1 for the 3D, 2 for the 2D reference and the 3rd for Photoshop etc. The other screen shold info like email, and web browsing.

As for the certificates they are left to right:

Young Inventors Competition award 1991
Royal Society or arts student design award 1995-96
Royal Society or arts student design award 1996-97
