The *Official* Eve Online Thread

If you guys want to get into 0.0 join the 101st Space Marine Acadamy, they will train you up in all the skills you need for 0.0 and then from there you can ship out to join the 101st space marine force. We're about to become part of the same alliance as MotherMayI and will be living in the same space...
 
Looks quite promising, noticed that they are moving away from Providence.
Solaris - you say they're joining your alliance - who is that / where is it based?

Ideally I'm hoping it is space with Sansha/Blood Raiders rats to suit my ship for killing them lol :)
 
Can somebody suggest a low sp vexor 0.0 sansha ratting fit?

I recently moved into 0.0 and love it here, however having some problems with ISK flow, because I can't think of a good fit.

I've got Drones to V, Scout Drone to IV, and will have Drone Interfacing to IV by weekend. Can Also train Gallente Drone Spec after that.

My sp is like, 1.65m.

Also some piloting tactics would be helpfull, I know if you orbit a BS at 1km, **** tracking means it can't hit you, but how should I clear a rat belt with a suggested setup?

With decent drone skills you might consider an arbitrator instead. I use to solo rat BS's with one in 0.0 when I couldn't afford anything else. My skills were quite a bit higher, but still almost all of the damage comes from the drones.

How did you do it? As in in terms of actual piloting.

It seems fitting that the skill which finishes today is DDD V

Ack, I've just noticed they've crippled the arbitrator with a 50mb drone bandwidth. I used to carry 5 heavys and 5 lights along with a tracking disruptor and afterburner. Once I'd tagged the BS it could never hit me as I orbited and the drones went to work.

The lights took out the smaller stuff, you just had to manage aggro carefully.

Now with a 50mb bandwidth limit, I dunno - you might be able to do it with T2 meds if you put a lot of points into drones.

I can't believe they've done that to one of my favourite throwaway ships :(
 
Not sure where I'm going with this game, just training skills for about a month now and haven't done much at all.

Thanks to OcUK/Lord Melon I'm flying around in pretty sweet Vexor (Just managed to get T2 Gallante/Mim Medium Drones) also got a salvager to follow folk around in L4 missions but been playing far too much BC2 to do so!

Was thinking of getting a Megathron next but totally unsure what to go for! (Armour Tanking/Drones) I added my character (Frapgusi) to website when I signed up for OcUK Alliance so you can look at my skills and advise if possible! Thanks.

Would like to try some PvP but haven't got the ISK to ruin a few ships while learning! Is that Red Versus Blue thing any good?
 
Some of the best PvP I have experienced was in frigates.

Small, fast and cheap to replace.

In fact, it was the best time I've had in Eve since creating my character back in 2004.

They don't seem to like people who have a slightly negative sec status.

Someone recruit me: 32m SP, no I dont fly bloody caps (but I will do in 30 days, IIRC), love to PvP, willing to do fleet fights, want 0.0 access.

Join the Warp Rats they are recruiting.

Have a POS in 0.0, plenty of PvP, ratting etc.

Mostly yanks with some Europeans in the mix.

They let you do your own thing, or you can join in fleet fights, mining, ratting,etc.
 
ohhh..an EVE thread :)

Ive been around Overclockers for a few years, but not been very active I suppose. Just posting to say hello from Atlas alliance and sorry to anyone in providence ;)
