The Big WWE Wrestling Thread

HHH vs Shaemus should be a decent match, they both have similar in-ring styles, so should work pretty well together - and HHH generally has good matches, except for when he is vs Orton.
Cena vs Batista should also be a decent match between two heavy hitters

Just watched TNA - AWESOME. Pure awesomeness. Then watched RAW. Had to laugh at undertaker messing his lines up and skipped most of the show.

TNA rocks!:D (And I've only been watching tna about 6 weeks lol and WWE since I was 9).

lol at jumping on the band wagon. :D I'll admit though, I have been watching more TNA since the whole big change.

TNA is still a joke. They think they can survive off of star power. Anything with Hogan init, stinks. Only because he always has to put himself first over talent. Just look at how much air time he has had since joining TNA in jan.

Different show, same old BS.

TNA has way too much talent that isn't being used right now because of all these ex wwe guys coming in.

TNA tries so hard to bash WWE and act like they are better but in all seriousness, all they do is copy what WWE do. They rely on stars that established themselves in wwe/wcw.

lol.

TNA is OWNING WWE.

RVD has debuted, awesome.

lol.. ratings say otherwise.

TNA is entertaining but it isn't even close to where WWE is and will NEVER EVER even be close to where WWE is.

TNA is nothing more than a glorified indy show.

The only reason WCW gave WWF a run for their money back in the day is because of Ted Turner. TNA don't have that sort of authority.

Cough

ive read it.....he will join at some point. he always does. hogan even said hes in contract negotiations, early stage.

Do you honestly think having Goldberg in TNA is what TNA really need? TNA right now have more than enough star power. They need to use the talent they have.

Goldberg has said plenty of times before that he is done with wrestling.

Both are utterly shocking at the moment. I'm sick to death of this whole "special GM" thing as they're just pulling any old idiot in off the street to host an episode of RAW. They need to get a proper GM back i'm afraid.

I'll be watching on Monday night, but only to see how many PG rules SCSA will break! :D

TNA is just a boneyard for old WWE talent. :(

3/4 of those wrestlers came from the wwe.

fail.

And WWE missed the ball with Pope, they released Anderson despite him being liked by the fans.
The fact that someone has come from WWE is neither here nor there, WWE has messed up with far too many stars.

Who happen to have some very good stars there in Angle, Anderson, AJ, Pope and so on

It's a pity they ruin it with the others on the roster.

And i'm not sold on Anderson yet, part of me still wonders if he's the "Darren Anderton" of wrestling.

Anderson is such a botch in the ring. Pope has really come into his own though.

I think it does matter that a lot of TNA's roster is just a bunch of ex WWE guys. It gives TNA no originality. Its just another wrestling show at this point.

WWE is the number 1 promotion around, as such many of the top stars would have often gone through the WWE developmental and possibly even TV due to WWE looking out for people who are good at the business.
Having said that, WWE also has many creative issues (as seen by the sliding ratings and the crappy at times product) so it is no wonder that many people never have their talent used fully by WWE.
RVD for one, Dreamer, Christian, Anderson, Pope, Haas and so on.
Each one of those was liked by the fans, could/can put on a decent match and a decent promo.
And yet, none of them were given a fair shot by WWE - due to giving them silly gimmicks, silly story lines and so on.
Haas himself has stated that in a recent interview

As for botches in the ring, Batista botches and yet he is still main event (and rightly so).
Anderson is not that bad, his matches in TNA have been fairly good.

Angle, AJ and RVD are the only guys (off the top of my head) i would take over to the WWE. The rest have either had a fair chance and failed / will never make it to the big stage or are over 50 years old.

I won't argue with you on that. It boggles my mind somtimes the way WWE treat their talent. The basically had RVD play a stoner when he debuted way back in 2001.

Batista is main eventing because Vince likes the big guys with lots of aggression. Big guys like Batista are easy to book. I have never been a fan of his and the only matches of his I liked was when he fought Taker in 2007 and that was only because Taker carried Tista through those matches.

As for Dreamer, he couldn't get any pops and was sloppy in the riing. He can only do hardcore matches like he did in ecw which WWE don't do. He was nothing but a jobber in WWE.

Creative in WWE is a joke. You know that fat dancer that pours oil all over himself? He is apparently apart of the creative team.

Big Dick Johnson is kinda funny though

OMG, why are they beeping him out :(

(Not watching it live, got it on record for tomorrow)

No stunner.

What a waste of an opportunity. Austin had very little ring/mic time at all. I guess if you don't have a product to push, then you don't tend to get utilised much. Shame.
