It looks and sounds good, although completely different to the way i run at the moment and i cant get my head around how doing more strides will save energy then a long ones :p
But im always willing to change to try something new that could be better and let me run more efficient and that could minimize strain on my Shins/legs

Sounds interesting. I've been trying to run for the last year or so. As soon as I started running regularly, my knees started killing me. So I made sure I was running off my heels. This worked fine for a few months, until now my right hip has gone stiff and kills me. Hence I've given up running for a bit.

Would pose mean no impact on joints? That would be awesome (although it looks difficult to learn on your own).

It can't quite be no impact because you're putting some stress on your joints just by moving at all but it according to the information on those pages (so not necessarily unbiased sources) is lower impact than more conventional techniques.

I can't say I'd ever heard of it but after reading the first little bit the runner that came to mind immediately was Michael Johnson and then it was confirmed in the Sports Injury Bulletin article, as far as I'm concerned if it's good enough for him then it has to be worth considering for us mere mortals.
