To see the pings in game. Run game as admin. Unless you are running it through steam then you have to run steam as admin AND the game as admin. On Win7 Pro this is by the way.

Yup, and its the only game i know of that this needs to be done. Love to hear the reason why pings require an andmis say so for some reason. :confused:
 
Your not missing much, game stability is worse than before:

Im getting more "lost connection to server" and for the first time EVER now CTD's.

Useless

Edit: those who bought via steam do you not have BFBC2Updater.exe?

Aww man, i was hoping it would be stable. :(

Had so many CTD's last few nights, and when i click a server nothing happens.

Cant find BFBC2Updater.exe in the steamapps>bbc2 folder.

EDIT: Any word on when the M-1 will be working?

Nope, we've been promised updates on it but as usual nothing forthcoming. :(

I was enjoying the garand first couple of days. I seen some screen the other day saying something about being able to use the bayonette on it, not sure how legit that is though.

I don't have the updater exe in the steam folder but the game runs fine for me.
 
Ugh getting pee'd off with the hit detection, I did make a video but forgot to render before deleting source files, gah!

I've missed out on so many kills, I'm sure everybody else does too, slow motion video showing me knife a guy, with blood, even the sound to notify a death, but he's alive, shotgun to the chest, blood..still not dead, another shot and then I die. He had 99% health.

My brother has one where he spawns, kills a sniper with his pistol then magically kills a tank with a grenade. Yes, a tank with a grenade. Problem was here never even threw a grenade and the tank was about 200m away.

Odd things go on in this game, even if you are a skilled player a lot of your hits are not being registered, the only worse game that has this problem is APB and that's in beta.
Not really had anything with such, dare I say "consitant hit non registering?" otherwise.
 
Just playing the game on 1 player to try it out its not bad game. Few problems though. When i turn vsync on in game it doesnt work? and when i turn it on in the catalyst control centre fps are lock at 50?
