Had 5 games earlier where i had over a 5-1 kill/death ratio, then the next like 6-7 games i was struggling to even go positive :(

I'm sick of the pointless hate on MW2. Firstly you're in the console section so if you want to go and whine about the PC version, you're in the wrong place. Secondly I've had a damn fun time playing through the game so far and I'm sure MILLIONS of others have. Sorry for the rant but pointless hate is going to get you nowhere on this forum or anywhere. :)

Fair point, people can't forget the problems that have now been rectified (apart from the spawning!!)

I still enjoy it but they haven't really fixed it though. The balance of the weapons/maps and the game turned into a killstreak war isn't fixed.

I'd say one in three games of FFA I enter now has a pair of nuke boosters. Which they could fix simply by removing the nuke from ffa.

I'd love this game much more if it was still 3 UAV 5 Airstrike 7 some sort of heli or harrier. There was no need to boost then.

The hacking though is not a fault of the game, I blame MS for not gamertag banning this sort of thing.

What will interest me is my game has changed so much from cod 4. In 4 I was always on the move. In this I rarely move. I'm interested to see how I now play the old cod 4 maps using MW2 claymore camping on ffa.
 
Just spied that they're doing a mw2 related 1200 points card for a tenner. Also I've got a fiver in an online account for a store, so £5 for the maps = teh win! :D

Some things may have been fixed but the games still got problems. Nuke boosters are still all over FFA, its choice of host isn't exactly the games strong point. Add these to the maps and kill streaks which encourage rampant camping I can see why so many people are still unhappy with the game.

Nuke boosters make free for all for me. They are so easy to find and it's just brilliant raining down on two crappy people's parades. You shouldn't get irritated by them. Just watch a few YouTube vids on booster hunting and the like and go out and kill them. It's a lot of free kills also. :D

The trouble is getting to them sometimes even if you know the spots. The other FFA players take you out. I've seen them behind crates on terminal knifing each other with tac insertions and despite telling people what they are doing they still kill you on the way.

Far simpler if infinity took the nuke out of ffa as it doesn't need to be there. Or they launch that crappy thermo nuclear balls so people can get the nukes that way.
 
I love it when nuke boosters are playing FFA, gives me something fun to do as oppose to just running around getting first place most of the time.
 
looking forward to the map packs aswell. Though has anyone noticed the map sequence seems to only rotate, derail, rundown and sub base on mercenary TDM. I HATE SUB BASE!

I got 3 Nukes yesterday 2 on highrise FFA and 1 on Afgan Domination

They are very easy to get as long as you control an area and as long as the enemy don't shoot down you'r kill streaks.

The trick on highrise FFA is to control the back end of the office with the windows in the roof, drop a claymore on the stairwell and just take out anyone spawning/coming through the front windows. Two spots to use your kill streaks are under the stairs on the other side of the map and behind the counter at the spawn point in the room opposite that you control.

Hope that helps anyone who is still trying to nuke or wants more :)
