I just watched last weeks TNA and oh my god what a load of rubbish!
Seriously this isn't me being a wwe fanboy but I really dont see what all the fuss is about, the ONLY cool part of the show was RVD's return but what did TNA do with it? Have him win a match in 30 seconds and then proceed to get beat up by rubbish bat shots by someone who is well past their sell by date for around 10 minutes.
People harp on about TNA's in ring product being better than the wwe's yet what I saw was some horrendously poorly timed moves by Hogan and Flair in TNA's mainevent and at TNA's upcoming ppv you've got AJ Styles v Abyss - that was a main event on a ppv when I first saw TNA 4/5 years ago. I watched Kurt Angle and to be honest his in ring promo bored me to tears and again it was the kind of promo he delivered 4/5 years ago when in the WWE, plus it's extremely hard to take him seriously as a baby face seeing as he's had more turns back and forth than possible any other current wrestler (and that's only thinking about his TNA stint!)
Along with AJ Styles TNA's most precious commodity is Christopher Daniels who for some reason is still stuck in the X-Division and Samoa Joe who wasn't even on the show.
Mr Kennedy/Anderson didn't show anything in his backstage promo to suggest that the wwe made a mistake in getting rid of him and not even Jeff Hardy's run in at the end (which made no sense fyi) did anything for me.
Honestly how any wrestling fan can look at the wwe's upcoming Wrestlemania card which includes Cena v Batista, Edge v Jericho, Taker v HBK, Orton v DiBiase v Rhodes, Triple H v Sheamus & Rey Mysterio v CM Punk and say that the quality of matches over on TNA is better is beyond belief IMO. Hell even in the stakes of old past it wrestlers (and I use that term as loosely as I can) the wwe has the edge giving us Bret Hart v Vince McMahon - now tell me who is not looking forward to seeing how that pans out and at the same time would not prefer to see that than Hogan v Flair?
