During our conversation with AMD this morning, we also got a heads up that in the next few days an ATI Crossfire profile update is in the works for Battlefield2: Bad Company that will increase performance by up to 75%!

75%? 75? %? :o

Yea because its crossfire. I suppose that crossfire isnt currently working in that game, and they are making a profile to allow it to work?

WTF, are you intentionally dumb? the game came out on the 5th, we have not had an official catalyst out yet this month and you're moaning that the performance was not there in the first place...

Up To 75%.

Well, from a consumer point of view, its always nice to see companies working on improvements to their existing client base. Any increase and improvement will be welcomed!

75%? hahahhhahaa well you never know. if they do then some driver coders need a pay rise/sacking for hiding such performance before now!

No, it means that it is likely to be a game in which crossfire currently isnt working. If they manage to get crossfire working using the new profile, then that would probably allow around 75% performance increase.

Or its a typo.
