Make-up is a wonderful thing, when i first got with my missus, for 3 weeks i did not know she had some freckles, it was only when we went to Alton Towers and got alll wet (By the water on the ride, i must add) did i notice.

Not surprised this is the most annoying adjective to ever exist I for one can't stand the word!
hey all, im not too bothered about the whole make up thing, it was only 1 of a few things that i mentioned after all. anyway ive decided to go for it, i think it may just be a case of me being too choosy. no ones perfect after all! 
i imagine there are a few other issues with seeing someone from the office, but i haven't even asked her out yet so i'm not going to worry about these issues for now. wish me luck!

Making an effort is not equal to putting make up on. Some women simply don't need it (or need the bare minimum such as some mascara).

Good luck man, usually people are in a good mood on Friday when at work, so that should be a good time to ask her I imagine. Just don't mention the destruction of baked goods while asking her...i imagine there are a few other issues with seeing someone from the office, but i haven't even asked her out yet so i'm not going to worry about these issues for now. wish me luck!
This. Wearing/Not Wearing make up isn't indicative of "effort". Not at all.
I think little to no make up looks best.

Ditto, but he stated lots of makeup. I prefer a girl who makes the effort but not overdoing it. Like i guy putting too much gel on his head and makes it look like a wet mop.
