OMG WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT WANT ....... Then later I want the lower priced Gulftown I7 970, but really, both cant be more that £300 each, and thats completely pushing my normal limits. I can try and get £175 each for my I7 920 and Gigabyte UD5, but I will probably have to settle for £150ish.
I suppose I'll save up the money from selling my current extra stuff - 2 PSUs, 2 Hard drives, and some old phones I have lying around for cheap.

A lot of those features are exactly like the Maximus III Extreme. Having played with the ROG connect, I can definitely see just how useful a feature it really is. Rather than having to reboot everytime to change voltages when I encounter an error during LinX, I could simply use my phone to bump it up in windows! The best thing is that those changes apply it to bios!
It's an evolution of the RC TweakIT feature from the Rampage II and the oc palm thing that never took off. For LN2 users I can see it becoming very handy since they won't have to battle their way through equipments just to press a button on the board.

Well, from the board layout in those screens above, I should be able to plug in two Graphics Cards in SLI and still be able to plug in a PCI Express Sound Card and PCI TV Card and still have room for for adding other hardware when needed???

With 2 graphics cards, assuming they are dual slot ones, the first pcie x4 slot will be blocked. Installing a sound card and a pci tv card will mean you'll have the bottom pciex16 slot left for something else. I can't imagine what other hardware you'll ever need though.
If using two dual slot cards, you still have two PCI-E 16x slots and a normal PCI slot left for soundcards or whatever else.
You can use up to two dual slot cards with a PCI or PCI-E soundcard, 3 Dual slot cards with a PCI-E soundcard (placed in the third 16x slot), or up to 4 dual slot cards in a full tower case providing the I/O panel of the last one is only single slot.
If this kind of slot layout existed back when I got my X58 UD5, I could have kept my X-Fi Elite Pro. I wont be getting a PCI soundcard again because finding a decent motherboard which can hold two GFX cards and a PCI sound card is nearly impossible, but up to three GFX cards and a PCI-E soundcard is brilliant too.
Not only is the slot layout perfect, but the overclock features are top notch too - Extra power for the CPU and PCI-E lanes, easy Bios flashing with a USB stick if it corrupts, and the optional extra air cooling for the X58 chipset.
I didnt buy such motherboards before because there was always something missing for the price tag, but I cant fault this one, and thats the first time ever that I cant fault a motherboard, the only thing I can see so far that people might not like is the appearance and heatsink design, but I like that too
Actually, there might not be enough space for my Asus Triton 88 to fit with the chipset heatsink so close to the CPU socket, I'll have to email Asus support about that to check.

I believe you can plug any lower PCI-E card into a higher PCI-E slot.

how much is this going to cost in the uk roughly?
No one really knows at this point (other than ASUS of course), but we know it is going to be more than the Rampage II. My guess is between 290-350.
