My new Saab

I'm useless at signature creation, Jansey did my current one.... wonder if I can rope someone into doing a new one for me :D

Here you go

In all seriousness it looks nice, hope you enjoy.

Yes indeedy. Your wheel looks like it's not faded or anything, just shiny so a magic erase will take away the shinyness nicely.

My wheel was shiny like yours but one side slightly faded when I used the wrong cleaner when I first got the car (I know, sad times....) so I'm going to get it refurbed - the results are very good after a magic erase, especially for a fiver for a huge block of the stuff as you only need a 2" cut square of the stuff.

It looks good Iain, I really think it looks good from the outside and other than the grey plastic, I think it's fine on the inside too.

Oh btw, what is this Magic Erase stuff ? ...a google search yields it could be all sorts of things :p ...if it could return my steering wheel from shiny to matte I'd be very pleased, although I suspect mine is a bit too shiny.

Cheers :)

I know the style of the interior isnt to everyones taste, but in terms of quality, it's no worse than anything else non german

I was interested in the 2.2 diesel in black but after reading the associated problems with them I bottled out.

Apparently the diesels in these are pretty shocking, reliability is woeful and they're not that great to drive anyway. The petrols are the opposite

Guessing it's this stuff?

DOKTER POWERRRRRRRRR is the correct stuff although many supermarkets/home stores inc Halfords sell other brands that are cheaper but in smaller block sizes. All do the same thing.

Yep that's it. I spent a good 4 hours doing practically my whole interior at the weekend. Looks almost brand new now.

Iain, do you think the Turbo needle pushing the fuel needle down was intentional by Saab? :P

I must say i do like the look of these, would much rather one than a Vectra, anyway.

Probably :) What was intentional is the needles are all little aerofoils :D

I would hate a vectra, but other than genetics, there's nothing vectra about it

Well I might just take a trip to Homebase and see if I can get some then, thanks for the tip ...although I really can't imagine how it will fix my steering wheel ...still it looks like it can do a lot of other things in anycase.

It certainly removed all the ingrained dirt in my leather-coloured vinyl on my interior.

I get 25mpg driving to work and back etc, not sure on a run yet, suppose I will find out on saturday, but I would guess around 30-32mpg?
