Yeah, if you're anything like me, there's no point buying a car for futureproofness at 17. I've had 3 cars since I passed a year ago. Haven't crashed them, just got bored with them.

Comparison sites are fine for "normal" customers, people with age under their belt and a decent amount of no claims.

For any "special" circumstances, points, first time driver, special/exotic cars, they are worse than useless.

I've not paid more than around £400 per car for years now.

Don't get an imported fiesta, theres plenty around. Plus get the 1.25 over the 1.3 drives sooo much better. Feels like its going somewhere rather than trying to get somewhere.

Because the technology in the 1.3 is akin to that found in the Ark, infact it would have made a good anchor for said boat.

The 1.25 generates more power, is more economical, and doesn't sound like a bag of nails spinning in your tumble dryer.

The 1.25 is just a better engine, the 1.3 is ancient but the 1.25 is comparatively new.
