I havnt actually watched TV for more than 5 minutes in years now, i cannot stand adverts at all, so if i wasn't downloading them, they wouldnt get the ratings anyway.

You have. The original is the inspiration for so many films and is very detailed in terms of character development. Hell even Robert the Englund is in it too

None of this pathetic CGI lark too.

yes i'm going to buy the original but I've read on other forums that there was an original movie series and tv series so i'm not really sure which one I watched not which was which.

I've seen the boxsets selling quite cheaply recently.

BTW the series starts on SCIFI in UK soon

I don't think it actually aired in the UK so for us UK TV viewers the break is irrelevant...
