Yup, Thats Fine.......

:)

Now all you need to do is to figure out how to post pictures :D

Edit: I must have a dodgy monitor at work as on the third picture it looks like there are 2 red connectors, 2 blue connecters & 2 purple connectors on the PSU.

Very true :D one last barrage and i will let you go, on the mobo there are 3 fan connections one marked nb fan just above graphics card, one cpu fan at top of board and sys fan on right side above sata ports, i take it i am ok to connect the h50 water cooler to the cpu fan and would it be right to somehow wire all the fans together at the rear of the case and have one lead coming through to connect to sys fan ?
I really do appreciate this i did try my best to search for a solution but you guys know your stuff better than most.

Connecting the H50 fan to the CPU fan header should be ok. From my experience you definitely need to have a fan connected to the CPU fan header - otherwise the PC doesn't boot (and even though most BIOSes give you an option to disable that feature, from what I've found it doesn't work...).

Not sure about daisy-chaining fans and connecting them to one fan header on the motherboard, as each header has a maximum amperage/wattage that they can safely supply - going beyond that risks damaging the header (at best?). If the combined amperage/wattage of the connected fans is less than the fan header on the motherboard can supply, it should be ok.

I concur.....

Always best to have one fan on the CPU Header.....

Do not put more than one fan on any of the other fan headers.

Otherwise you should be fine....

:D

got a gtx260 coming my way, whats the quietest cooling solution as my current system is very very quiet - anything similar to the h50 available for a grpahics card? or can one be converted?

ok here goes....a little further up the page loudbob is showing a picture of my power supply, i have installed a gtx260 which has 2 6 pin connections. Loudbob said to use
the top right red 6 pin on the power supply unit and the purple coloured 6 pin connection below it - loudbob if you read this i'm not second guessing you its that i just noticed one of the 6 pin connections is v3 and the other is v4 i thought if they were different they might not be correct and i dont want to power on untill i am sure and get the ok from you guys...much appreciated as allways!

Always good to get a second opinion.

But just to ease your mind.....

Any of the VGA connecters can be used.......(Blue V4 & Red V3 on above picture)

Even the 8 pin connectors (Blue V4 on PSU) can be used in 6 pin sockets (GPU) as long as you use the 8 to 6 pin connecters/convertors.

Biffa - Please Confirm (or deny the above).

The VGA Connecters can be used in what ever Config you like i.e.

3 x GTX 480's (3 x 8 pin & 3 x 6pin total connections)

2 x GTX 480's & 1 x GTX 260 ( 2 x 8 pin & 4 x 6 pin total connections) - This will be my Set-Up.

3 x GTX 470's (6 x 6 pin total connections)

The Power Supply that you have can do any.
