New wheels and another exhaust

Hi Neil, looks a stunning example.

Out of interest have you sold the old wheels yet? I've been searching for something simular for my VX220.

Exhaust wise, a big fan of that!

Prefer it before tbh, but I have to say, I love this car. It is awesome, great colour to, really suits the car. Very jelous :D

I love it, looks awesome and easily my fave car here :)

Exige is the first car i would buy after a lottery win, there would be others of course but exige first !!

Love the GT3 exhaust, not sure on the wheels.

They do look good but think I prefer the originals. That might just be the fact that the first picture shows the car as being a deeper colour though.

The wheels look really good, they appear to 'fill' the arch & look crammed full of brake disc! :)
I'll be interested to hear how you find the Toyo R1Rs, they are getting good reports & its what i'll be going for next as I want to keep mine focussed as a B-road blaster and quite simply the 888/A048 have too many road issues.
Unfortunately I have to agree that the rear-end now looks a touch 'un-finished', still, it weighs even less :)

The original wheels always reminded me of EP3 CTR wheels, and didn't quite suit the car IMO. The new ones look a lot nicer. Are they much lighter?

I also prefer the new exhaust - more weaponlike, less aesthetically pleasing (in a good way).

Loving the new exposed exhaust, it gives it the hard edged racer look imo!

Not sure if I prefer the wheels to the old ones though.

That's a very, very nice machine you have there.

Another one for the "before" camp.

Stupid question: now that the exhaust is spitting fire right next to your paintwork instead of at the bottom by a plastic tray, is there any danger that it will eventually start to damage the paintwork?

and another

Having to remove that part of the bumper just ruins the looks imo :(

Surprised so many prefer the before photos, will take some more when it's clean. Aero wise, even with the rear panel the cars ride height is too high for it to be of any real use.

ah v nice....

really needs a PPE header, and 3" intake, that would sound pretty sick...

although toyota may supply, the engines will come with YAMAHA stamped onto the block. mine does anyway.
It's got a 2Bular manifold already, any bigger and I'd need a chargecooler setup which is lots of £'s...

I will be keeping the wheels for my winter tyres.

They are half an inch wider, so up to 7 on the front and 8 on the rear while being a whisker lighter :D

Neil.
