Hi there,

I'm trying to get an order in this afternoon so please excuse the small/brief posts but I am looking for some wider opinions on which parts I should go for before I regret choices later on.

I am looking for approx a 120gb SSD however here are some things I need to take into consideration.

1. It must be about 120GB no less as its for the main installed OS/Programs and no more as it will get to expensive.
2. It is for a gaming PC
3. It should be the best value vs performance, I'm not looking for the best of the best in this range but I'm also not looking for the cheapest if it has issues (for whatever reason).

Apoligies if my post seems short I'm in work on a break at the moment trying to go into each sub forum asking advice on a few parts I'm unsure of.

Thanks

I managed to get a 256gb ssdnow v+ (snvp325 s2/256 gen 2 toshiba controller) new from that auction site for not much more than the 128gb costs. Really am pleased with it, especially now i have my alignment correct. 235/175 read/write and decent 4k performance, its not the best for 4k by any means but its still miles faster than any mechanical drive and offers good value for money.

I had been looking at the ocz le or a c300 but saw the kingston and jumped at it, the extra capacity will come in handy :)
