Probably your CPU more than anything else. Can you overclock it at all?

Cant be arsed mostly, havent bothered overclocking for years, I just find it a tiresome process these days. Usually I get fed up increasing it in little increments, and then just go balls all out and whap a massive OC in to see what will happen, then it just refuses to POST, and needs reset, and invariably I will have forgot to write the last stable OC down and have to start all over again.

I'll go see if I can just buy a quad core for my socket, and stick that in instead. :D

I've a couple of Phenom II Tri-Cores laying around somewhere and a motherboard for them but then I'd need different RAM and to reinstall Windows, and I really hate installing Windows these days. The installation itself is fine, the re-installing all your programs and getting them the way you had them is a nightmare though.

I don't get on well with shotguns at close range, sometimes you empty a full Saiga clip into someone whilst standing right up their arse, and they just turn round an knife you in the face. :(

Awww I love my sagia

Double clip size is a must tho to stand any chance as a reasonable distance due to the damage drop off

1200 kills dont lie :D

The handy thing about the vss is if you miss you can usually see the bullet impacts and adjust your aim, can't really do that with the bolt actions and its usually a guessing game if you were too high or low.

Hold down the LMB until u r ready to descope ;)

Didn't know that, cheers. Might have to have another blast with the M95/M24 later, seeing the drop would definately help, a lot. :)

v nice job getting to M95 without this!

What I do not get is that I can play for a couple of hours everything running great no probs. Go do something around the house come back 30 minutes later and I get CTD when in the server browser continuously!

Get a M1 Garand with magnum ammo, that is awesome for quickly headshotting someone, even at long distance without the need for a scope.
I'm not sure whether it is a shotgun though?

A bit of a stupid question really, but I was under the impression that the missile launchers used by engineers had a heat seeking capability for helicoptors, but I've no idea how to work this

Any ideas ? I've shot a heli down with a tank shell, and with my RPG, but purely through aim (and luck no doubt :) )

You need to use the tracer dart gun but still not sure if that works either?

It's very hard work hitting a chopper with either the dart tracer or a rocket...frustratingly so. Though very rewarding when you land a silly amount of points nailing a full load.

I think the 2nd launcher is meant to lock on, but havent done this yet. The 3rd is a guided missle, that I thought locked onto heat, but it's not very good.

There's a lot of confusion regarding the M136 AT4 as in the description it mentions HEAT, many people take this at face value as think it's some sort of broken heat seeking missile but as it's in caps people should twig that it's an acronym.

High Explosive Anti Tank

Only type of 'seeking' in the game is that provided by the tracer dart.

It doesnt take that long. Motion mine assists + C4 on tanks and buildings containing MCOM's pours the points in really fast.

Its still pretty crap compared to RPG / CG, at least in my experience, I still cant hit choppers with it, and standing still whilst guiding it makes you sniperbait.

how do I unlock the M1 Garand? I seem to have the other veteran stuff, but not this?

Also are the servers down? I cant seem to connect to EA.

Firstly you have to hit the target with your tracer dart. One done you will see a little red square appear (target location) aim at this little flashing square until it stops flashing and stays lit, then aim any where and shoot.

Just played in the ocuk server, had a good few games, very hard to hit people from distance with sniper rifle, even aiming above them sometimes you just cant hit them, doe sit get better as u rank up? please tell me it does!

I am really surprised people didn't know about the scope. Its not the first game to have this and I am pretty sure it was the same in wolfenstein.
