Finally back home, I really do hope that we went the route that avoided the scamera van on the way to the pub... fox, were you sure?
 
Was really good to meet a lot of you today, seem like a nice bunch ;) Would have liked to have got around to more people, but was getting a bit fed up of greeting people with "Hi, whats your username". As a result I'm still mystified as to who many of the friendly faces were :p

Sorry for not being able to warn you quick enough about the camera van, we literally drove past it (the other way as we accidentally went to the pub first) and the first thing Skywalker and I said to each other is that it would more than likely catch someone out. We literally had no way of warning you lot apart from posting on the forum as we obviously hadn't met you yet, and we had no-ones number. In hindsight I could have maybe got Freefallers number off my sister, but its too late now.

Apols to Booner again for possibly cutting him up on the way to the phantom pub, saw you accelerate towards the lights and went to keep up, then saw the stop line very late and had to cut in whilst making sure the ABS worked :o :(

Too much Caffeine.
 
Just got in, great day out and nice to meet some new and old faces. Pity about the weather but nothing we can do about it at this time of year.

Thanks to Rob and Nick for the pax rides in the Megane and M3 :D

Yep, the one of the left with the M5 front bumper is Fox's 530i, the centre is of course Pete's M5 and the right hand one is my 540i.

Just connected that with the other thread :) Looks good although i must say the bumper bar delete mike has done does look good.

Yea it does look good, cleans the front up up a bit, Mike's car is tidier than mine though anyway, then again he has spent a lot more on it and it's been better looked after. Oh he has a very nice knob btw ...and a lovely steering wheel.

My tracking definitely isn't right, the long trip down the motorway/A34 and all the ..err spirited driving today left me in no doubt I need to take the car back to have the tracking looked at again, I had it 'corrected' last week but it's definitely not right. The car wanders at speed and the steering wheel is ever so slightly out of alignment with the straight ahead position of the wheels now, just a few degrees but you really notice it on a motorway cruise at speed.

I thought I might just be imagining if before, not I'm left in no doubt.

haha hamzilla I just got this post, you turned up a bit late it seemed!! meet was at 11. Glad you finally got to catch up with everyone, worst thing ever turning up to a meet and no one being there. Hopefully you will make it again but on time :D
 
Yeah forgot to say thanks to Mr Solid for sorting it, excellent driving routes as always, and that hotel carpark is an excellent place to stop in future!
