When do us ps3 owners get these new maps from the playstation store , i feel left out

Nah its not the same as care packages though. They dont count because it could be anything much higher than a 4 kill reward. Sentry is just the way you recieve it like you use the radio thing to call in aircraft, would seem silly if you just pulled a sentry gun out of your pocket tbh.

Its not until you go back to overgrown and crash on domo you realise just how ****ed up they made this game with the killstreaks.
I used to spend the whole game running from point to point trying to capture and hold in overgrown. Now it's so open with the killstreaks the maps about as much fun as wasteland.

I know the pavelow goes towards your killstreak. my mate had it on and got an ac130 without killing anyone else (with a gun or knife etc). good in a way but i expect to see a lot more nukes as people are surely going to use pavelow, chopper gunner, nuke with hardline on.
Just been thinking this as I browse the new maps on my own. Like in the shed on Salvage, little platforms. And one of the corners in Storm, a walkway with a massive pile of pallets next to it. Could easily jump on them but you cant
Still, I eargerly await XBox Live getting fixed so I can play later tonight.
I just did the same spent some time on the maps looking for different spots. That warehouse in salvage could have been excellent but you cannot get up onto the 2nd level despite having a nice walkway around it and lovely open windows
Bailout is the only map with potential really of the new three.
I was thinking this the other day.
COD4 the killstreaks were nice to haves and you would get them without noticing sometimes. However on MW2 it seems like you need to rely on them to win games.
I played a game of sabotage earlier on bailout and although we won one guy on my team was in excess of 48-3. Now I like winning, but I kinda felt for the guys on the other team when players on our team are not interested in bomb, just picking people off and starting killsteak perks off.
Now when your getting them, I'm not doubting they are fun to unleash but I'd love them to stick either a 3,5,7 minor killstreak rotation in or guns and equipment only.
It's still fun for me most times but I know how many games I've won just by shooting 4 people or less. When I think back to how we used to play to win on MW1 it was much more pleasurable imo.

I think it depends on your style of play and what game modes you play, I've been doing the lightweight VI challenge so running round almost constantly, it has hit my k:d ratio (now around 1:1), so I'm using UAV / couter UAV / sentry gun as I never live that long.
But I still find I'm winning games / coming top without the big kill streaks (I don't play TDM as obviously that is all about K:d)
It just depends if your worried about having a high K:d ratio and what game modes you play IMO, I seem to be getting higher scores now running than when I was being cautious going for a chopper gunner.

Yay New Maps! Unfourtnately my work has decided not to pay me for this month.....
So looks like i'll be waiting a while to try these out! Still Think they should go back to the original kill streaks. UAV - AirStrike - Chopper! Nice and easy.

It's just what a few people have told me and I've had no chance or desire to test it out myself so as I said I've no clue if it's true or not.Yes it gets you killstreak rewards, but the Pavelow would not count towards your highest killstreak on the leaderboard because it was (or is) glitched, the only thing I ever used was Predator > Harrier > Pavelow and sometimes it would count towards my record and other times it wouldn't. My highest killstreak is around 32 and I've gone 40-0 before and it didn't count because of the glitch.

i was whoring the double xp last night,i went from 42 on to level 50.i finnaly got my ACR back so i will be racking up the points tonight
Yes it always has done what it didn't do (or very rarely did) was count towards your highest ever killstreak record. I've only had a few occasions where it wouldn't give an AC130 even though the Pavelow had gotten like 4-5 kills, but all I had to do is get 1 more kill with a gun, knife or grenade and I would then get it.

Oh right, I dont know if it goes towards your overall killstreak then. we both have killstreaks in our 30's (his 31 + mine 39) so its quite hard to beat them again to see if they do go towards your overall highest killstreak

Oneshot is on his 5th or 6th prestige I think.
What perks do you use along with the ACR? I like the gun but I can't seem to "get along with it" as much as I'd like to.
I'm on Level 30-odd I think, so I'll start playing as much as I can over the next few days so I can boost myself quickly to Lvl70 again. I won't prestige again this time, I enjoy having everything unlocked too much.
