Probably gonna set up another event tomorrow evening now aswell. Probably will aim to start the game at around 9pm.
Are they even making them for L4D2? It didn't take them this long last time.
Bah that sucks. I guess it would be nice if they could do it anyway but making sure 8/16 people had the maps then going to play Team Versus on the original would be a bit messed up.

Not in the same league. There are virtually no high places to get a satisfying pounce from in L4D2 without knowing every map and every invisible ledge/ tree trunk. There are no high places that compare to those in NM or DA. I want to jump from the 20th floor of a building... far more than is needed for a 25 pounce, and get the satisfaction of pulling it off. that doesn't exist in L4D2 with the exception of a couple of spots.
Invisible walls were a massive problem on some maps, but not to the same extent. The hunter in L4D2 is marginalised far too much.

Just to remind those that read this thread that the 8v8 shall be on tonight. Time is uncertain, probably around 9ish, but I'm most likely to go to the pub first and start playing when I get back.

As this thread is full of all things left for dead and I haven't checked it really in a while is there any news on the new DLC yet ie a release date.
Played left for dead once since Badcompany came out, I feel dirty as if I've cheated on my wife.. I shall be faithful once the DLC is out. I may even jump on for some 8vs8 this evening, haven't played 8vs8 in a very long time.

Sadly not, Steve broke the DLC and there's no word on when it will be fixed.
