Question...when it comes to "average work done" is that a 24hr period if so what time is it midnight-midnight and when it comes to that phrase "parp" is that only when you have passed someones actual tottal work done?

Parp is when you are about to overtake someones total score and move into their position.

Average work done is over the week if you are talking about Boincstats. and their "Average credit"

I don't think I should have challenged Grimgoth in a race to 5 Million on SETI.

He now has a 400k advantage on me :( and still a week (at least) before I get some new hardware.

At last my output has started to go up after a few problems.

Dont drop your hard drive on a solid floor - it wont speak to you again :rolleyes:

New psu arrived without all the cables required - held a build up another 2 days :(

I have a few days off work now to get it up and running although if I can stay awake after finishing work I could have it online by lunch time - hopefully

....... time for some pro plus cos Toxic is to close for comfort :p ....and thats without his upcoming upgrades.

Going to have to work my socks off to stay in front I think !
 
Way to go Mr Halz sah! a particularly nice tiffy and one that i am chasing myself, i have had a lot of downtime with mine but all ok now and hopefully yours to....dont forget first to 350000 gets the drinks in!

Muhahahaaa my secret cloak of invisability is now so secret its engaged by itself - thats what i like...a self aware system lol nope its open for buisness nowt to see just been trying to use the merge thing to get rid of some non contributors...no joy
 
Must admit its the first day of a 24hr straight run but still cant figure out why a q6600 with 9800gt is giving 4300 a day average whereas an i7 with gtx260 is giving 3900...grrrr.
Thought i would share this image with you good people...i found it deeply disturbing and no its not me at breakfast.

Having the same issue with 2 8800gt's, 1 is producing almost twice the results as the other - maybe that pc has simply downloaded harder woo's, dunno really.

Yes, that picture was deeply disturbing, is it for sale :D
 
Biffa i have only just figured out how to post a first class letter if someone wouldnt mind telling me how i will do you mean the task pane in boinc manager...i very lost ;-)
 
Put boinc manager on full screen on your pc, hit the 'print screen key' on your keyboard then paste the picture into something, ms paint will do, save and post.

Have the tasks showing when you do that.
