Day two - had proridge again in the morning, 2 slices of toast at 11am. For lunch I had a Sandwich and a yoghurt. For dinner I just had boiled bacon, onion rings ( oven cooked), pees and a mushroom, had apple crumble for desert.
I know the desert was bad but it was a family meal on Good Friday.
I did go on my bike and did around 6-8 miles I think, it was freezing! Will do more miles as the summer draws closer.
As for tommorrow my Dad has me penciled in for manual labour in the garden lol so that will be my exercise.
I really wanna get back to how I was when I was 21, girls looked at me and I could where nice clothes.
Now I'm too fat to go on my sisters running machine, nice clothes don't come in my size, girls try and get out of my way lol, I'm to fat to emmigrate or join the RAF or Navy...
Posting on here has finally got me focused after so many failed attempts.
I don't care for cakes, biscuits, crisps, chips. I only crave for burgers really lol...
When I get a craving I'm gonna make lean burgers myself for an evening meal.
Good on you for making the decision to do something about it. Make small changes here and there would be my advice. I've been putting on weight quite steadily since I hurt my knee in September and have been trying this and that to shift it. I've tried low carbs, going to the gym every other day doing HIIT etc etc.
I feel a bit foolish now that it's taken me this long to realise I've been trying to run before I can walk. Now I've realised it's a case of just making moderate changes, cut some of the rubbish out and replace it with fruit, veg, nuts etc. I start my day well with porridge and it goes downhill from there lol. Then I'll just go to the gym a few times a week and start doing 20-30 mins on the bike each time and build from there. Obviously my situation is a bit more complicated because my knees are still troublesome so I can't run which is a tad upsetting but I'll get there.
Good luck and keep us updated with your progress!
My mate did his knee in when he was in the Navy, he got big, but when he left the Navy he went up the gym and dieted, he walked slowly and cycled for months, now is really fit and can run full speed for 25 miles on the tread mill lol... it can be done, you just don't wanna make the knee worse by trying to run now.
