Yet I regularly see people surviving shots with the Barret 50 cal in this game, and indeed many of the other sniper rifles, and it has stupid things like heartbeat sensors. Oh and apparently it takes three pointblank headshots with a silenced light machine gun to kill someone. It's clearly not trying to be a realistic war simulator so your argument is invalid.
 
I have worked out how oneshot is so good ... he is invisable ... If i follow him I get shot at he doesn't every time!

I was on the opposite team to him on Dom terminal the other night and he was posted up at the top of the escalator we were spawning outside the large glass window. I told my team in loud simple clear English, DON'T GO NEAR THE ESCALATOR ONESHOT IS THERE AND HE WILL KILL YOU ALL. To which my team then put on the elite mode all go for the escalator and sure enough the killfeed reads like this....

oneshot(gun)..........
oneshot(gun)..........
oneshot(gun)..........
oneshot(gun)..........
and so on...

que me swearing and telling my team that they are a load of n00bs and the reason why we have mic's.

The single most annoying thing about using snipers when it not in hardcore mode.Proper ****es me off when I line up a shot,fire and..........they just run off:mad:

Another annoying thing with snipers is you line the shot up (upper body/head) on a non moving player fire and miss not even a hit marker, they don't move so you do it again miss and then once more for luck.....miss still no hit marker by now you'r ****** off then to top it off you get knifed in the back by a witch...............grr rage quit

I find any match without 4bar connection you can forget sniper rifles unless your quick scoping close range.
 
I shouldn't really encourage more snipers into BC2, but it just shows what a joke hit registration is in MW2. Once you get a feel for the bullet drop you can pull off moving target head shots at the same range you don't even get hit registration on statics in MW2.
 
Just had a couple of games of Dom.

Had some three man clan in the lobby after the first game ( that we lost ) bragging to themselves and that they were going to turn on the nuke as they were pwning us and then stating that the next match was going to be win number 15 for them, sure enough they won the next game but only just.

Anyway back to the lobby where I throw out the comment about nukeing us and what happend to it, sure enough bragging they were that they would drop it on the next match which was Dom subbase. Game starts we rip them to shreads I get to 24 kills and run out of ammo one of my teammates comes to where I'm posted up kills himeslf I grab the gun get the 25 drop the nuke on the bragging ***** and watch the kill feed as all three of them leave. muppets ha ha.
