English League & European Football [2nd Apr - 8th Apr 2010] **spoilers**

What can you say. Not enough done in Germany despite scoring 3 goals at home. Carrick not good enough by far in recent months. From the sending off you are never going to beat Bayern as despite what some people would believe they hold the ball and pass the ball more succesfully(according to TalkSport and Football unlimited podcast anyway) than Arsenal.

Hopefully it spurs the club on to realise that the midfield is not good enough to dominate the likes of Bayern, Barca etal

Well

And Fergie's timidness has cost us again, you cannot play THIRTY ******* minutes with no strikers you idiot. He basically just said "go on Bayern, have as much of the ball as you want"

they were qeueing up.. it was a matter of time till they got it right and scored.

v dissapointing from rafael,i think hes a good player but a mad mentality.

Utd simply don't have a good enough squad/players to challenge in europe imo.
Cant imagine teams shuddering at the thought of carrick oshea and fletcher on the team sheet.

in the europa league... its the micky mouse competition.

Fun game to watch, Utd should have really sealed it though. Feel sorry for Rafael, should have got a free kick for his first yellow, but fouled him and ended getting it himself :p

Ah well, good game to watch, cracking last goal.

imo the better teams went through tonight and last night, can't be many complaints from the English fans. Was definitely a yellow too, see those yellows almost every game when a team is trying to break and they get cynically held back/tripped. Always a yellow

the first yellow was stupid but that second one was absolutely nothing. Teh ref has simply listened to the cheating Bayern players surrounding him and getting him sent off. If that was two yellows then Van Bommel should have been off in the first half.

Yet they drew with them at home then lost 2-0? Not so sure JohnnyG although next leg will be different thats for sure.

Congrats Bayern though glad to see them go through purely because I dont think United are the team they once were I dont look at it and say WOW, this sums it up tbh

"Says it all about utd's squad when the best they can bring on is old man giggs no disrespect to giggs but he's way past his best."

Giggs/Scholes on the bench with Berbatov and crooked M.Owen and 2 youngsters who dont play at this level they lack any serious depth.

Rumours of them getting Benzema on loan? That would do them nicely.
