Online Threats

I highly doubt this guy will turn up. I had some idiot giving me grief over a game just because he could not handle losing. He started harassing me, so I gave him my old mobile number told him to call me to arrange to come visit me. He never did call.

Just internet hard men tying to act tough. If you are that fussed just log a complaint with the police that he has threatened you, and tell them he has also gone to the trouble of finding your name and address.

Carry your Carl Gustav at all times this weekend.....

I'm in Manchester this weekend but it aint me!

I doubt he is a 40 year old man in the army who regularly gets posted to iraq, when would he get time to play!
I reckon some kid is messing with you.
Good luck this weekend though!

Post all the details you know on this cretin and let the ocuk bunch go to town on him :)

Find his wife's email address.

Cut and paste every message he has sent you into an email, email it to his wife and CC him in on it. He might then see what an idiot he is being!

is it possible he might post your address up on a social networking site and say theres a party there, since he keeps mentioning party?

The internet is full of idiots giving it large and being abusive when in real life they are complete pussies still living with their mummys - just ignore him.

OP, if you are under 16 then report the incident on CEOP Click here. It will be investigated and delt with. Increasingly on-line games like WoW and others are being used for abuse & bullying and the authorities along with Blizzard etc. take it very seriously.

If you're over 18 then just keep blocking and ignore him, he's doing it to get a reaction out of you.

Can you imagine the conversation in the Army mess?

"Right lads, I need a few volunteers to ruff a bloke up"

"Ok sarge! Errr... what's he done? Slept with your missus or something?"

"worse than that lads, he left my role playing guild and some of my on-line friends decided they'd rather role play with him than me".

Room full of suaddies " Ahahahahahahahaha.....

"it's not funny you know, one of them was a level 80 death knight of pwnage!"

"ahahahahahah..." err... sarge... "ahahahah", "sorry...this role playing thing..."

"Yes?"

"do you all, like dress up?"

"ahahahahahaaha"

"Shut up you horrible lot", "that's it, you're not my friends any more either"!!

Squadies wandering off: "Ok sarge, we'll leave you to your leather, goblins and elves" smirk

:D

Might want to clear that with Tank, Morba and Freefaller first..

I doubt his wife will be too pleased :p

Ask Tefal to go all detective on him :o

Lies you just have a dirty mind

¬_¬

But yeah if you have his email addy there's so much you can do/find with that :D

Sounds like you had a hardcore raiding guild, the guy put in more time than he should have and now feels like hes losing a piece of his life due to the guild breaking up because of players moving to your guild and so has issues with you for making your casual guild. I used to see this often on wow... The game does suck some peoples life more than it should.

As to what you should do, ask him exactly what he wants and what his problem is =/
When presented with this question they usually realise they have been acting over the top.

TBH you need to get the Shield of Manchester. It has over 9000 parry and dodge. I suggest making sure your cooldown on bubble and heart are both available for the weekend just to be sure.

Serious reply - Just get friends around and if he does show up be friendly. But make it obvious you've got a large group of people there. If one or two of them happens to be a policeman, then all the better! :)

His "Army" mates will certainly want to go against all training and risk their jobs to kick the ass of some guy who stole members from his WOW guild.......

Just reply to one of his WOW messages, tell him you beleive he is ill, its just a game and perhaps he should seek help.

Post all the information about him that you have, and im sure the guys here can get all his info and probably find out he's a 14yr kid

You can tell the police, they do take it seriously these days. I'd also contact Blizzard, with proof of any print screens, or logs with his details in. Chances are they'll definitely look into it.

i used to be a GM for WoW, and print screens are not accepted as evidence of anything because they can be faked quite easily. if you give the time and the channel and the name of the character who was threatening you, then they will be able to see it in the chat logs and link it to the account and so forth.

keep reporting it as often as it happens because blizzard will see he is a repeat offender and take brogressively heavier actions.
