Failing that post your address and if you live within walking distance I could come round and video the whole thing for evidence :D

Very true.

But instead of ignoring, keep reporting him to GM's every time it happens, he obviously enjoys being an asshat so you can take that away from him by getting his account closed.

As others have mentioned, personal information can be got hold of so easy these days, wouldn't worry about it.
He's not got army buddies ready to come around, he's not even got buddies. He's a sad overweight middle aged man who plays WoW, Runescape and Hello Kitty Online with the sole purpose to troll, he's an grade A idiot :).

Sounds like this guy is a massive BS'er. I bet hes not in the army, the pics you saw were probably from him airsofting. I wouldnt take any notice of the moron and get him banned from WoW.
 
Op, are you on a Role play server? Because if so just tell him that you're a paladin and you're bubbled, and unless he has a priest cast mass dispel you can't be hurt!

It does worry me though people actually care this much for a game, I can understand being a bit angry for 5 minutes if you lose a game because someone cheated / is being cheesy, but getting angry over switching a guild?
 
If he is actually mentally unbalanced and potentially violent (and knows where you live) then you definitely ought to report him to the police, humiliate him in front of his co-workers, lose him his job, inform his wife, get his beloved game account closed, etc and so on . . .

What an idiot though.
