EVGA 480 Hydro Copper ***

Rubbish. You have no idea what a 480 can do underwater. If he wants a 480, whats the problem? Not everyone is soley obsessed with bang for buck. Maybe like me the op has had a very good experience with nvidia, and that counts for something. Heat is the only issue IMO and sticking it underwater will sort that.

+1

And to say a 5870 will beat a 480 under water is just foolish.

problem is no one knows what the GTX480 is capable of under water, but the fact reminds what can a HD5870 do underwater? overclock a bit more, tbh I don't see it beating a cherry picked HD5870 overclocked to the max....before you attack me it will be interesting to find out ...with you give me the money for the HD5870/GTX480 and for the watercooling :P than I ll give my PC to someone who knows how to overclock for a day :p ( cos I might blow something up)

And lay off kylew, he's actually being reasonable for a change ;) :D

And if anyone has read the Hex review, you'll see that 2x5850s is def the way to go for enthusiasts
