OCZ Colossus?

Anyone think these are any good? the writing and read speeds are really good and there actually 3.5

Do you think its worth it for the price tag? I would have thought the price would have been better because of the size of the whole thing is larger and they wouldnt have to use more expensive smaller components?

The price for the size looks about right, not seen any reviews yet to back up if its worth the money, another site has them a good bit cheaper tho, so have a look around

im surprised its not faster, afaik its just 2 drives @ raid 0 in 1 box

According to a review I found, no.

Windows 7 was not required for these tests because the Colossus is not TRIM capable. The 4 Indilinx controllers *are* capable individually, but the the Silicon Image processor does not support TRIM forwarding so the controllers never get to see the TRIM commands.

They might support garbage collection though which is similar to TRIM.
