Attention E46 owners..

Your steering wheel is well low:o looks cool though.

I'm more intrigued by the fact that all the vents are in exactly the same position and angle, not to mention half-open, thereby being exactly in the middle..

That's almost exactly how I have my car too, it's low yes, but lower = better, unless you're a short arse!

You don't need to have the vents aimed centrally or whatever, have them aimed exactly how you want, auto-cc will just out the air at the right amount for each vent.

Don't really have much choice though, I wouldn't be able to see the dials how NickXX had the wheel setup.

Are you tall?

My seats are at the lowest and wheel at the lowest but I can see the dials perfectly! (5ft 8).

My compressor is broken though, so I don't have that luxury atm :(

The vents are one thing, but the fact they're all half open is OCD.

What is it with people citing "OCD" at every opportunity  It just looks neater..

This forum has an obsession with branding people OCD.

I presume they are the sort who drive cars where the footwell is fool of discarded rubbish because hey, thats normal, its cool not to give a stuff :p

Slightly off topic but still e46 related; Fox, you had a buying guide to them a while ago, if I remember correctly? Had a look but couldn't find it. Would you know the thread title please? I'm doing some research. Thanks.

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I'm wondering if anyone bought one of these in the end? Are they are good as they look and where can you buy them from?

The "Where to buy section" on their website is under construction.

Rofl, just noticed this, looks like Paradigm's taken the flack for me though :p

Having everything the same is better.

A company called "TTints" were the UK distributer for them.

They started out at £550 for the first ones, then decided to put the price up to £650 and finally last week they decided that these units were worth £750

Now, as you might have guess, this ****ed a few people off on the E46 Forums who were planning on buying one - after all, a £200 price hike in a month for nothing? This is how TTints replied:

TTints said:
Hi Guys,

Thanks for your comments

Please note that this unit includes Free Fitting, and our 12 month warranty in which if anything should happen or go wrong, we will immediately send you out a BRAND NEW UNIT or receipt of your faulty unit.

Prices has gone up as all the bugs & problems are fixed,

If you have any other queries please contact me

Needless to say, this made everyone more angry because it's basically TTints saying that they charged less for the V1 and V2's because they had known faults...

I was excited about getting a Dynavin, but now after seeing how bad the UK distributer is, i won't be getting one.

However, all is not lost - there is another unit on sale which appears to do everything the Dynavin does, and more - for £398. People on E46Zone have already ordered it (rather them than me) and should be reporting back on it in a few days!

It uses iGo 8 - I am quite fond of iGo after trying it on my Android and the unit itself looks good.

Interesting.....!
