TV Election debates - how are they doing?

Gordo is now telling us about Taliban tactics. He should go over there and fight them as his new policy.

Don't agree with clegg's trident policies.

Hes right though, why do we need a nuclear program we cant afford, and won't use. Just to wave a big imaginary scary stick. Id rather we started to look after ourselves than pretended to be "hard".

No country on earth is going to nuke us, just because we can't nuke them back, especially with nato and europe.
Iran or korea aren't just going to nuke sweden, or holland because they don't have nukes. Its willy waving.

Couldn't agree more, what is the need for nukes? Their horrible weapons

They certainly are, but other people have them/want them/are developing them. Better to have a gun and not need it, than need a gun and not have it? Not only that, but the amount of money the trident system will pump back into the UK is HUGE. Provided its mostly developed in the UK, the jobs and technology we can export out of it will be massive.

Reducing waiting times below 2 weeks??

Because the cancer has been growing for 6 months if its aggressive and maybe up to 2 years if its not-as-aggressive. Those days before being seen in clinic will obviously make a huge difference.

Encouraging self testing for various cancers and giving people information about common symptoms would make more sense.

*edit*
It's amazing how no one cared about these issues before tonight. Whats the bet that 90% of the policies they mention are never bought in? It really annoys me when Brown talks about policy X,Y,Z coming in April to help this group of people who are struggling... WHY DIDN'T YOU DO ANYTHING FOR 13 YEARS THEN!
