You raise the sensitivity of the mouse, you need to drop the sensitivity of the game. High DPI does not = better, 400dpi is perfectly usable with the right game sensitivity.Do these gaming mice make that much difference, especially for less frequent (i.e. less skilled) gamers?
Gaming mice might be built better (but they are still plastic shells).
Might have better ergonomics for your kind of play. Maybe you also need the extra buttons and DPI switching/LED glow colour fiddling.
I'm going to get round to buying a Microsoft Basic Optical to replace the one I replaced with a Steelseries Kinzu. Scroll wheel is too stiff and some notches are firmer than others. Can't be having with that kind of unreliability. Brand name means nothing to me.
