I'm guessing it's one of the test flights....that will be fine because the ash isn't doing anything to the engines.
Are you?
It's really common for Saharan sand to be dropped on the UK after big sandstorms when the prevailing winds are from the south. Why is it so hard to believe that ash is dropping on the UK in tiny quantities, when we know it's in the air above the UK in fairly large quantities?
http://www.radarvirtuel.com/Just out of interest, where you you get the above data from?

it isnt working![]()
There's a big cloud of ash covering the whole of the UK, yet it probably isn't ash which is appearing on peoples cars which have been washed in the last 24/48hrs?
Ok, I defer to your superior post count.![]()
The parents washed their car a day or so before this all happened.
Somebody tried to post a semi-car related fact so Fox had to appear and correct them else everything would have ground to a halt. Then of course, because it's Fox, the perpetrator then had to start an argument about it (regardless of the fact that Fox was probably right) rather than let it slide. C'est la vie!
Dust, or volcanic dust... you decide lol

Definitely volcanic ash. :D
