Near the pub on the corner. There was a railway near and also a big gas station i think? I the houses have been knocked down now anyway

And yes, I've spent a few days in Stoke-on-Trent too. I discovered it was actually worse than Stafford. The word 'neglect' comes to mind, sadly. :(

Don't get me wrong - there are some very nice places in Staffordshire, but Stoke (at least the bits I've seen) isn't one of them (IMO).

PS - I've been known to be equally damning of where I live now, so please don't take it personally. :)

Just out of intrest when you say stoke do you mean the city center hanley or the town called stoke? Either way there both crap but stoke town is probably one of the worst towns in the world!

:D OCUK distanced them self from the poor peasants of stoke on trent and moved into Newcastle under Lyme a whole 6 miles away

Nice area down their now. Just a shame the state the bottom end of Etruria is in. Belmont / Ladysmith etc... All needs to be rebuilt IMO. Getting like a ghetto down their with all the chavs.

I cant remember much but i did go to the bellmont primary school before it got rebuilt.

Much prefer Trentham 2bh :p

No as my wife and my ex both come from stafford :p

But ive lived in longton since i was born :D

I was very sad to see my old school ( Woodhouse on Anchor Road ) get demolised but i took loads of pics.

There about to demolish my first school ( Adderley Green Infants, also on anchor road ) but as im on the PTFA i got inside and took loads and loads of pics, also on my facebook page.
