Popped up town to day and went to a shop that Buy, Sell and exchange. I picked up a Integral 64gb USB 2.0 flash drive for £50. Flash memory is expensive as you know and this seemed great value as some 32gb flash dives can cost £50. Do you think it was a good buy? As I hate being ripped off.

I've already got a 1.5tb external harddrive. This is something I can stick in my pocket and take anywhere. I looked on a famous website and they're £117 on there so I pretty happy with this purchase.

If that's genuine you've got a bargain and a good drive.. I've got a 1GB Integral bought many years ago that's still going strong, used to use it for an ISO scratchpad during the many nLite test sessions, my SSD takes up that duty now. Think I paid about £55 for it... you can get em for a fiver now.

Unless they have gone downhill you've get a good one there.

Indeed I would check this is legit, best way to test would be to copy 64gb of data to it and see if it works. A fake would error after x amount of data

LOL i remember when 64mb was huge! I collect lost usb drives at work and keep them if they have no identifiable data and no one reports it missing after a week, 3 2GB, 3 4Gb, 7 1Gb and 4 8GB over the last academic year :D There are programs to 'fill' a data drive with a preset file size, forgot the name but i've used it to test capacity before.

64gb of true portable data is a lot !

was thiking,a 64gb usb 3.0 enabled stick be cheaper than a 64gb SSD but id guess quite a difference in raw performance...but it would be a slient boot drive for a easy os like ubuntu.
