Bought them. Deus Ex 2 crashes upon load up of the main menu screen.

Glad to see they ironed out the bugs... exactly how I remembered it. Oh well, only a waste of £1.50.

EDIT:After doing some extensive googling managed to get it running.

Might give the second another chance as well, Its not actually a bad game really. Though i agree it dosen't compare to the original.

Midweek madness so I can only presume it will run until Thursday or Friday (maybe longer depending on how popular it is). Can just gift them to your Steam account for later game if you can't get it sorted on Mac.

I knew that picture would crop up sooner or later!

I bought my copy back in December and spent over 20 hours on it despite having played it many times before. It's amazing just how much I missed all those previous times and probably during that last run as well.

Agree with the remake!

The funny thing is there was so much in that game that remembering it is hard for me. Then again it was about 9 years ago that i played it. Still got my cd's too.

DX1 is the best game of the decade. FACT.

DX2 is better than 95% of games out there, even if it is substantially worse than DX1 (blame consoles).

So I suggest playing both. Just be open minded about the second one - even if they frakked a lot about it up, it is still stellar nonlinear game.

Yes

It's a classic. Great mixture of stealth, fps and rpg with numerous ways to complete each mission.

It's nowhere near as good as the original but it's enjoyable, for £1.50 it's worth a punt.
