I'm starting to hear the distant rumble of aircraft again in North London.

Two contrails of aircraft having headed west, then towards the centre of the image two more heading this way.

The eruption has quietened down slightly and is now extruding lava instead of a huge plume of ash...

So less ash in the air means... less ash over Europe and... flights can continue...

Looks like cirrus cloud to me. Could be signalling the approach of a warm front. Rain be coming
