If you could move out of the UK...

I've worked in Switzerland and the US for a while. Would never, ever, under any circumstances, want to move to either country on a permanent basis.

I just spent a year in South Korea, bloody hated it. Quite looking forwards coming back to blighty

Lack of boom boom the reason for your disappointment?

Personally I have fallen in love with Singapore, and if I became independantly wealthy I would probably maintain a home there. Its a city done properly, low crime, high responsibility, reasonably high rights and low taxes.

Spongers pretty much starve, and working folks don't see it as a bad thing. When a juvie vandalises property they get lashes with the cane, they don't do it again. Death penalty to drug traffickers and dealers, job done.

We moved to NZ in August of last year. Wife's a kiwi, our daughter has dual nationality and it's the best decision we've ever made. Although NZ is not perfect, I'd never consider moving back to the UK. There's simply no comparison.

Heaven is a place on earth.

Would like to go there sometime to see what it's like, I might go to watch the Formula 1 next year.
