I actually enjoy those games. They concentrate too much on the stabbing and you just bring out the trusty shotgun. BOOM!!!
They soon get fed up and leave. A few flash/stun grenades and you are set.

i'm getting really annoying scores recently, trying to get to a 1.0+ k/d ratio but i'm getting 10-9 or even 10-10 ect. always getting almost the same deaths and kills, going to take a while to get to 1.0, although i'm 0.9 i still need 400 kills.
having fun camping on some level though with the tac knife, hide round the side of a doorway and knife people as they pass, lol.

do you just play TDM? - if you want the bigger k/d ratios switch to Dom or Sabotage and camp out the bomb/dom sites.
play with a team also and call out when you get killed/where the enemy are spawning etc. also don't push to hard in to the enemy spawn and get your team mates to do the same. pick em off as they come out, and watch your k/d shoot up.
a lot of my games are like this now, I've just come to terms with the fact that I just naturally suck at this game. I probably get a killstreak once in about 15-20 games.
Even witch class and noob-tubing doesn't make me any better!

domination most of the time, but i seem to get matched with retards while my mates are at work so i have to go to the enemy side to capture flags, the idiots on my team seem to capture the flag we start at and then just pratect that one. can't win with one flag, lol.

Don't worry about winning the objective then. I know it's hated upon but when you're playing with retards seriously just give up and stop playing the objective, it's not worth sacrificing k/d for.
As for connection, yeah its not a major issue playing with 3 bars, but it makes enought of a difference imo that i go 1-1 in a game rather than 2-1, and i dont like making my k/d go down that much

Im much the same. I only got my ps3 in november and wasnt really used to playing with a controller. So when I started my kill/death ratio was really poor.
I nearly always finish in the plus now but my ratio is still 0.98. Also around 400 kills off. Got this down to 300 but then had a really bad few nights where everything was just going wrong and its now back to 400 lol

What kill streaks you got on? Predator - harrier and PAV are good for kills. Once you reach Predator you nearly always get the other two.

"Was" you downloading torrents or something? because you got host mate and the lag was like a yoyo from unplayable to playable and so on which is why I left ( still managed 30 - 9 on quarry with your lag switch

No I wasn't downloading anything. I didn't know I was hosting how can I tell if I am or not?
My xbox did freeze fir a while and I had to reset. Maybe thathad something to do with it?

When the game starts usually everyone except one person will have red connection, and host will have green, for a few seconds.
Except when you get a useless host and everyone has green except the host but it still laggs like ****

or during the game host has full 4 bars everyone else doesn't
