How do i get the m1a1? I quite like running around with the saiga and motion sensors as recon, but the long range of saigi is pretty poor. m1 garand is as bad as a sniper close range but not as good as a sniper long range, so i was thinking m1a1 would be pretty good at both and make being a sniper easier?

Have you tried slug ammo and a shotgun? This works beautifully for me
Also, the G3 isn't too bad. The M1A1 came included with my limited edition version... I'm not sure if you can get it any other way

I thought it was available to everyone at a certain rank (if you didn't get it for pre-ordering).
yup everyone can unlock it, only one everyone can't just unlock is the garand from the veteran thingy.
I'm sure everyone knows how to sign up for BFHeroes

You'd be suprised how many i see with no veteran number next to their name!
I signed up for heros ages ago, but I don't want vet status from a game I haven't actually played. I can live without that rifle. Anyway vet status might make people think I'm good.

Will do, i downloaded vent last night for pvp co-ordination in Star Wars Galaxies, prefer Teamspeak though.

Yeah so did i but over time i've realised vent is far better!
I like it but it's still not tracking kills with it so can't get any medals/pins.

The server update still has some issue. I dont tick hardcore and yet they still give me hardcore servers.
Put a cross in the box instead of leaving it blank.
As it's already been said - I'll say it again.
The M1 Garand is a good rifle (IMO)... I do quite well with it. The only down side is the lack of the game tracking kills / badges / medals etc so far
Wish i had BF1942 or is it 1943?
