DC2 Type R owners please :)

Is it wrong to want a DC2 with Civic Type-R wheels? :p

So wrong purists will want to stab you in the face for thinking it :p

As above 16" max.

I want a 98 Spec JDM with Red Rota GT-3's to pleasure myself over, like this.

Pic for colour and wheel reference. ;)

Year previous there was a Integra meet in Wales (EVO triangle), there was various Integras with different suspension mods and some stock - cars were going total warp speed into corners! My mate in his stock DC2 kept with the lot (he said only way to keep up was heal and toe), this is not to say you can't improve DC2 cornering (because you most certainly can), but regardless of mods, the better driver in a stock DC2 will take some beating.

That was me, the other milano red stock (see sig)! I've still got the video you took with us all in before we started, er...going for it. :)

The stripped out JDM was the first to drop off - it may be beneficial on the track but on real roads like that he said it was terrifying, back jumping out on the fairly big bumps. Back end is light enough as it is for proper roads.

Ended up with me, another UKDM and the DC5 still in "the running". Good times. Can't wait to get back up there in the summer.

If I wasn't determined to having a Yellow one I could probably pick up a black or white one in a couple of weeks :(

God all this dc2 talk makes me want mine back so badly, I really regret selling it as it was an absolute minter. I was aiming for an s2000 or a 350z in the next 6 months but I'm seriously tempted to get another dc2 now.

I'm currently trying to debate whether I've found the right one or not.

£4500 with new discs and pads all round, new braided lines, all new bushes, new clutch, and fully refurbished seats (sent away, stripped, rebolstered presumably, cleaned and reassembled. Only trouble is, it has 130K on the clock - not a problem for me, as this seems like the best example from the descriptions I've read, but may pose a problem when I come to sell it after putting 10K on the clock.
