I used to have a very similar desk, it was PAINFUL.

I had a chest of drawers on the right and a filing cabinate on the left, literally no space left for anything.

Intuos was something like 300, second hand too :x

Worth it though,

sexy oled screens and the sheer size of it make it a joy to work on

Yeah, some company cocked up an order, refunded me and gave me a £20 voucher, then upped it to £50 as a 'sorry'.

I was surprised how quickly I got used to the Wacom. Not that I can draw

You can pry my Intuos 4 from my cold dead fingers. It's miles ahead of the Intuos 3 IMO.

The comment about the 3 was unrelated to your post

Just an observation. I don't really like using the large ones with a 24" monitor either though. Great if you use it to draw things, not so great for retouching. Just my preference though
