tell me about it... wait 5 months for the bloody thing to come out in UK on contract... might as well wait for the Evo 4G to come out and get a friend to buy it for me... 720p recording would come in quite handy for my roadtrip up and down the west coast of USA

Problem being is that the EVO4G is a CDMA device so wouldnt work on any UK networks...unless they make a world phone ie with a sim card or make one particularly for the european market.
 
Yup and that's £5 per month more than a Desire too, and all you get for your extra cash, besides a more awesome phone :D is 1GB internet instead of 500MB

Why do Nexus users need double the data Desire users need? :confused:
 
Anyone know anything on the Picasa syncing issues? I've read a thread in the google help forum but there doesn't seem to be anything useful been said.

ordered my n1 via quidco. £150 cashback apparently?!? my first time so hopefully goes smoothly /edit vodaphone only and contract.
 
You'll probably get it before I get my Desire at this rate :p (Don't worry, nothing can replace my Nexus, the Desire is going on fleabay to offset the sim free price of the Nexus)

If Voda have branded it as badly as we all fear it'll defiantly require a new ROM :p
Stock ROM's that can be flashed without root would be a good start (Its basically like installing an OTA, but this one will remove all the 360 rubbish)

On a different note, has anyone seen anyone selling on the Google employee handsets? I only want it for the QR code flag waving Android on the back :D

true but friday would be a bumper day if i received both SSF4 and my Nexus one!!

Credit check was completed same day so i assume im in the list of pre-orders to go out for friday since not heard anything else... Here's hoping :)
